Notifications & submissions

Know the moment a form is filled in — and keep every answer where you can find it. Email your team, reply to the visitor, browse it all in WordPress.

Tell the right people. Keep the record.

A form has two jobs the moment it’s submitted: let someone know, and hold on to the answer. QueryCue does both out of the box, and most of it is free.

The instant a visitor submits, your team gets an email — every answer as a plain Label: value line, with a reference code to quote later. Send it to one address or several, set globally or per form. It’s sent best-effort, so a slow mail server never leaves the visitor waiting on a spinner.

Want the visitor to hear back too? Switch on a confirmation email — your own subject and message, with {{field}} placeholders and an optional sender name. It’s free, and it goes to whichever email field they filled in.

From submit to
inbox to record.

Someone submits

The form is validated and saved on your server. What happens next is entirely up to your delivery settings.

Your team gets an email

A plain-text notification with every answer labelled and a reference code. Recipients are set per form, or fall back to a global list, or to the site admin. Send to as many addresses as you like.

The visitor gets a reply — if you want

Turn on a confirmation email and the person who filled the form hears back immediately, in your words, with their own answers merged in.

The submission is kept

Every entry lands in a list in WordPress — open one to see each answer with its label, the time, a reference, and the consent record if one was given.

Delivery you actually control.

Never makes anyone wait

Notifications go out best-effort — a mail server having a bad day can’t slow down or fail the visitor’s submission. The form says thank you either way.

The right inbox, every time

Set recipients once globally, or override them per form so the enquiry lands with the team that owns it. One address or a whole distribution list

Keep it — or don't

Store submissions in WordPress, or switch storage off and route everything by email or webhook only. If nothing’s active, QueryCue warns you before a lead can go missing.

Branded emails and a full export.

Pro turns the plain notification into a branded HTML email — your logo, your primary colour, an optional footer — for both the team alert and the visitor’s confirmation. The plain version stays available; the branding is a switch.

And when you need the data out of WordPress, Pro exports every submission to CSV or JSON. The export streams row by row, so it copes with large archives, and the CSV columns cover every field name that ever appeared — answers from older versions of a form don’t quietly drop out.

Great for

Email is one way out. There are more.

Push the same submission further, or govern how long you keep it:

Get the email. Keep the record.

Team notifications, auto-replies and stored submissions are free. Branded HTML emails and CSV/JSON export come with Pro.
