QueryCue is built by a small company in Bavaria. We sell a plugin, not a subscription to our servers — and we think that difference is the whole point.
We built websites for clients — law firms, clinics, contractors. Every one of them needed forms, and every good form tool had the same catch: the submissions live somewhere else. On a server in another country, under another company’s terms, reachable only as long as the invoice is paid.
For a law firm collecting case details, that is not a technicality. It is a problem you have to explain to your client. And the honest answer — “your enquiries are stored on a US provider’s servers” — was one we got tired of giving.
The data belongs to the person who collected it. Not to the tool that happened to be in the way.
So we built the tool we wanted: a form builder that feels like the good ones, but stores everything in your own WordPress database, on your own server. No cloud, no telemetry, no account with us required to run it. If we disappeared tomorrow, your forms would keep working.
That is also why the free edition is genuinely free and not a trial. A tool you cannot leave is not a tool. It is a lease.
Founder & developer
I write the code, I answer the support tickets, and I decide what gets built next. When you open a request, it does not go into a queue at an outsourced first level — it lands with the person who wrote the thing you are asking about.
That has a downside, and I would rather say it than hide it: we are small. We do not answer at three in the morning, and we do not promise a response time we cannot hold every single week. What we do promise is that the answer comes from someone who understands the problem.
It also has an upside. A bug report from a paying customer can be fixed and shipped the same week, because nobody has to convince a product committee first.

No submission ever reaches us. There is no QueryCue cloud, no telemetry, no “anonymous usage statistics”. We cannot read your form entries even if we wanted to — and that is by design, not by policy.
The form page loads nothing from anyone else. No CDN, no Google Fonts, no tracking pixel. That is why it stays under 30 KB — and why you do not need a cookie banner for it.
Our pages are written against the source code, not against a wish list. If a feature is planned but not built, it says so. You will find that written on the pages themselves.
QueryCue is a brand and product of ucepts UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a company registered in Germany. When you buy a licence, that is who you have a contract with.
No investors is not a slogan. It means nobody can force us to start collecting data later because the growth curve demands it. Full company details are in the legal notice.
